Here’s the live concert video I did of The Dream Syndicate, playing live at Cleveland’s Beachland Ballroom on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s death. The Cleveland crowd was full of hard-core fans who knew the songs and reacted with enthusiasm. What I love about Cleveland audiences, when they’re with you they let you know it!

The Dream Syndicate Live in Cleveland from Tom Weber on Vimeo.

Dream Syndicate is Steve Wynn, songwriter, guitar and lead vocals; Dennis Duck, drums; Jason Victor, lead guitar and vocals; and Mark Walton, bass guitar and vocals. The Split Squad opened — video of them is coming soon.

I ran camera and took care of the audio recording. Kurt Sahlmann ran handheld camera, up in front of the room, and got most of the cool shots (I had a lot of tall people standing in front of me all night). Andy Briskar of Pittsburgh did the surround and stereo mixes. The concert will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray, download and/or streaming with full Dolby 5.1 Surround as soon as I work the logistics out.
